Writer's Guidelines
It is very important to us that we provide a forum for local writers to share their views, information and opinions. Woodlands Family Magazine is written for you and by you. We enjoy receiving submissions from freelance writers based in and around The Woodlands area.
Each month we feature articles related to monthly themes in our editorial calendar as well as regularly appearing columns such as The Family Tech, Health Matters, and Just for Fun. Writers are invited to submit either a feature article or an article for one of the columns. If you would like to talk over your topic with us before submitting, please contact the Editor-in-Chief via email, cindy@woodlandsfamilymagazine.com.
To be considered for Woodlands Family Magazine, articles must be locally relevant, preferably with a mention of several local points of reference within the article. Editorial content is determined and laid out 60-90 days prior to publication. Please remember this when submitting articles for consideration.
